BUILDING
A BETTER WORLD

The oath that is recited before and after every Taekwon-do class reminds each of us to be "a champion of freedom and justice" and to "build a more peaceful world".   This is about treating people fairly, looking after our bodies and taking care of the world around us.

As a small business, we're happy to know that Taekwon-do and fitness are largely non-polluting activities and that through our art, we can help encourage others to act sustainably.

At Doug's Dojang, we strive to reduce our environmental impact by:

- taking care of our equipment so it lasts longer

- buying high quality local and/or Australian goods wherever possible

- avoiding food waste at seminars and events, and

- reducing carbon footprint by balancing driving & flying for intrastate travel.

If you have suggestions for sustainability initiatives, please contact us
